Camping site that only lives of the stunning surroundings. Campsite itself is in poor condition, sanitary areas are no longer in a good shape and cleaning of showers and toilets are pretty much left up to you and all the fellow campers and still they have the nerve to charge 1 EUR for 6 Min. of hot water when showering.

The camp spaces are in good condition and electricity is available for all sites (against surcharge), but don´t expect to receive front row see view places (of which only 2 are available). When traveling by tent, expect to be placed next to a busy street.

Site is close to the town of Unterach which comes in handy when supplies are needed. The local "Kiosk" at the camp site only has a VERY limited offering (Beer, Cola, Chips, Newspaper, Ice-cream and a "Semmel" for the Breakfast) but they do offer coffee, given that you like to get it xxx from the savvy vending machine.

For families with children, don´t panic if you do not immediately find the mentioned children's playground. It might actually be occupied by the four children of the person living next to you. And that pretty much wraps it up; 2 swings and a miniature sandbox (0-3 years)....That´s it!

Want to swim in the beautiful Attersee? Come early in the morning to xxx you place, otherwise you will find the "stamp-sized" lawn for sunbathing full, but if you do manage to draw you your territory on the lawn, you will find yourself in the most beautiful surroundings with the clearest water you can imagine (pure drinking water, no shit). Unfortunately its not very suitable for small children as you have to enter from a small boat bridge. The alternative is the small river going through the camp site, here you precious little ones can enter by themselves, but be aware of the current in the middle which can be quite strong.

All in all, not a very up to date camp-site and surely not family friendly! Expect to pay extra for everything, and don´t be surprised of unfriendly owners.
